Toothless' Update
Toothless went for a check-up yesterday to make sure he's all well after the surgery that made him toothless. It looks like he's healing great! I'm so happy! I just went out today and bought a BOATLOAD of temptations at the dollar store (I can't hold off for much can I?). I'm also applying for a job at PetSmart so fingers crossed, I'll get to deal with kitties all day!!

15 to go
Ugh I just wrote a midterm, and now I'm waiting on another one on Wednesday. I think the only thing that's keeping me from constantly thinking about Toothless is the midterms.... it makes me wonder how bad my Toothless addiction will become once I'm done my midterms.

Round of Applesauce
I already miss Toothless. My boyfriend and I have been discussing where our furniture will go in our new apartment, and how we're going to get it there. Since I'm not too good at lifting heavy things (my little arm muscles hate me when I try), I'll be going to pick up Toothless as my boyfriend and his friends move the stuff out and into the apartment (I have to disassemble everything the night before to make up for my "non-work").
We had another discussion today about how we should position the bed and such. My boyfriend had to stop me from worrying about where the scratching posts and litter box would go. 16 more days and they ARE long!

Smell my foot
Isn't his little paw the SWEETEST? We went to see Toothless today, and it WAS hard not to just pick him up and put him in my car to bring him home. It was really funny when we arrived because he was exploring the house after being let out of his "healing room". The flashy lights, squeaky mouses, and lazer dots were more than he could possibly pay attention to, so I had to sneak in some petting by coaxing him up on my lap (with toys of course). He's going to get a check-up on Tuesday and hopefully his staple in his neck can come out.
This will be the longest 17 days of my life!

18 Days Left
Hehehehe I love this picture! It makes me feel like the caption for it should be "Insert food here" with an arrow pointing into him mouth.
I can't wait! I'll be going tomorrow to go and see Toothless again, and I will NOT forget my camera this time! It's going to take all my strength not to take the carrier with me and take him home right then and there. I'm also (but not as) excited for the lunch we're going to beforehand, I LOVE Toronto food, it just seems fresher. I think some of it is because of locally grown foods, but I also have a feeling that Toronto gets "first-pick" of the batches that ship in, since they're really a major city in Ontario.

19 days and counting
This is the carrier, minus the comfy stuff I plan on putting in there so that Toothless won't be uncomfortable for the hour and a half long drive back to my apartment. I'm so glad that this carrier comes with that little white food and water dish on the door. I'm a little worried about how deep the dish is though, I don't see water staying in there too long before sloshing onto the floor, and all the comfy blankets I plan on putting in there.
I was showing my boyfriend all the stuff I have, and all the stuff I still need to get, brush, nail clippers, food, blankets etc. he's been laughing at how much thought I put into the stuff I buy (eg. I checked the holes on the door part of the carrier to make sure that they were big enough that if a paw accidentally went through, he wouldn't get stuck). He's also been having a giggle at all the "prep" I'm doing for getting the cat, like reading articles on how to put the cat in the carrier without scaring it, and what other people have fed their younger cats that have no teeth, not that he discourages it, but I'll read an article about a cat that ate only wet food, and that after a while it had digestive problems, my boyfriend had to reassure me that feeding Toothless wet food a few times during a week wouldn't kill him. Can you tell I'm going to be over-prepared when i get this cat?
