Operation Day :(

Today's the day that Toothless officially becomes Toothless. I'm really hoping that this will clear everything up, and that the surgery goes smoothly for him! I'm still shopping for cat toys and litter boxes for him, and looking for the perfect cat carrier for him! I have to hold off on the cat carrier though, first off because I don't really need it quite yet, and secondly once I get it I'll get really excited and impatient about getting him on the 1st.

The beginning of the toy "Flood"

I went to Petcetera today, and I fond two amazing deals! The black and white tower was originally $130, but was on sale for $38. The other post we got was originally $50 (though I don't understand why) and was on sale for $9. So I finally have the first two toys of my new cat's toy collection! I also don't worry about the cow-print on the other post (I think the print is hideous), because dot is black, and most likely the whole thing while eventually turn to grey/black. I also might be seeing Toothless again this weekend (though we haven't decided if we will have the time), so I hope to get some more pictures soon ^^.

Mine mine mine!

I went to see Toothless yesterday, and he's ADORABLE! There was a point where he curled up on my lap and grabbed my hand with his paw to pull it up into his head! I know my heart melted at that moment! He was also so funny running around and chasing a little mouse when we arrived. He just couldn't get out of "play" mode, so we brought out a laser toy, and he was completely hilarious as he chased it around and stood right in-front of the laser several times while looking around frantically for the dot.
Then the crumpled piece of paper came out. I never really sat down to think about it before, but cats can turn the simplest thing into the funniest thing you've ever seen. Toothless chased the ball of paper around the bottom of the table, then under a couch, then around the table again, then around the chair, then back under the table! Even when I picked him up to see if he'd cuddle me, he was still on the hunt for the paper ball.
I paid for him before we left and now I just need to wait until I can bring him home! It won't come fast enough as far as I'm concerned! I can't tell if I'm more excited to move to our new apartment, or get Toothless!

Toothless' Story

Toothless is going to be adopted by me on March 1st (though I'll own him since January 29th). Toothless was in a kill shelter on death-row until an adoption agent saw him and saved him by putting him in a foster home. He now lives with a bunch of other kittens about his age in his foster home and apparently he's quite the little ball of fun.
Recently it was decided that he would need surgery to remove his teeth, since his gums were bad. They expect this to fix the issue, and I simply cannot WAIT for us to move to our new apartment so I can move him in!

As for why I'm writing this post, I realize now that I am so super excited about getting my cat, but there's nothing for me to output all that excited energy into, so I'm creating this for myself, and others who may be suffering from the same thing.
Hope this will help Someone :D

Toothless

Meet toothless! Toothless is currently a TCR cat in a foster home (named Emerson at the moment). I will be going to pay for him on Saturday and he'll be coming home with us on March 1st to his new home!
Although you can see teeth in this picture, toothless is soon to have his teeth removed due to a gum disease, the hope is that when he has his teeth removed, he should be 100% better, and we'll just have to watch what he eats.
He'll be joining our other cat Dot, who I will post pictures of later, my boyfriend Naielo and myself (Thirsha) in our new apartment, and we couldn't be more excited!
   More later, stay tuned!
